ADR Driver Hire for Tanker and Dangerous Goods Work
Qualified, experienced drivers for fuel, chemical, gas and packaged dangerous goods. Before we confirm a driver, we check their ADR card covers your goods for the whole booking.
Checking the ADR card against your load
An ADR card is not a single licence for all dangerous goods. It shows which goods the driver may carry: packaged goods, tanks, and the separate specialisms for explosives (Class 1) and radioactive material (Class 7). A driver qualified for packages is not qualified to drive a tanker.
Before we confirm an ADR driver we check that their card covers the goods and the way they are carried, and that it stays in date for the whole booking. ADR qualifications last 5 years, after which drivers must take refresher training and tests.

Working to your procedures
Dangerous goods sites run strict rules for loading, discharge, PPE and emergencies. Tell us your site inductions and procedures when you book. Our drivers follow them, and follow the instructions of your Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser. The operator and consignor stay responsible for the vehicle equipment, orange plates and transport documents.
